The thirteenth edition of the Greek Stochastics meeting will take place in Naxos, Greece, on 7-10 July 2023. This meeting's primary aim is to facilitate a broad discussion of current research themes related to Contemporary Bayesian Inference.

Please note that there will also be a few contributed talks and poster presentations.

We would also like to bring to your attention that the 21st Conference on Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics is taking place straight after the Greek Stochastics ν' meeting at the same location and venue.

Short Courses

The meeting will consist of:

  • three short courses, of 3 hours each;
  • contributed oral presentations;
  • contributed poster presentations.


The three short courses will be given by

  • Maria De Iorio @ National University of Singapore on "Bayesian Nonparametric Mixtures".
  • Chris Holmes @ University of Oxford on "Recent developments in Bayesian predictive inference
  • David A. Stephens @ McGill on "What is Bayesian about Bayesian inference?"

Abstract Submission

  • To be considered for a talk please submit an abstract to GrStoch@gmail.com by the 30st of April, 2023 -- Acceptance will be confirmed by 12th of May 2023 .

  • If you wish to be considered for a poster presentation please submit an abstract to GrStoch@gmail.com by the 15th of June 2023.

Registration

The registration fee is 100 pounds and it includes welcome drinks, conference dinner and refreshments during coffee breaks.
